"Your Shadow" – Is your dark side. It the parts of you that you find unacceptable and reject in yourself. The part of you that is arrogant, fearful, deceptive, judgmental, angry, self-centered, attention grabbing, unworthy to receive, etc.

"Your Light" – Is your Divine Essence Nature. It allows you to access and express all the higher Essence qualities including: Presence, Connection, Love and Joy, Strength and Power, Integrity and Clarity, Energy and Vitality, Trust and Faith, even Abundance and Prosperity.

Many approaches to personal growth focus on one or the other. Affirming only our Light disconnects us from the world, from our ground, and from humanity. Wallowing in the Shadow produces walking wounded who live in the past and wear their emotional wounds like a badge of honor.

Both must be accepted. Anything you deny in yourself grows and comes out sideways, and eventually sabotages your success. A commitment to honest self-exploration will serve you.

One of the tools we use in our transformational programs is the Enneagram. It bridges the gap between psychological self-exploration and spiritual transformation. It allows you to work within the ego and, to some extent, to transcend it. The Enneagram is an amazingly precise description of your Shadow and a map that points you in the direction of your Light.
